NETTIE (UNGEMACH) ROSS January 16, 1915 ~ March 18, 2012 Nettie Ross was the daughter of a Clark County pioneering family. She was raised on the Ungemach family farm in Ridgefield, WA. She was a seamstress, worked on the election board for 45 years and was a Sunday school teacher for 40 years at the First Church of Christ Scientist. Nettie was married to Elmo Ross for 59 years. They had three children-Dixie, Del and Diana. She loved gardening, homemaking, card games, bunco and clam digging. Nettie had nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Nettie was a shining light of inspiration to many of her friends and loved ones, who said she had a twinkle in her eye and an enthusiasm for life. A funeral service for Nettie will be held Sat., April 7 at 12:30 p.m. at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Vancouver.
