Dan Belisle Thank you for joining us to celebrate the life of Dan Belisle, our father, our son, our brother, and our friend. Daniel Ray Belisle was born on August 21, 1961 in Vancouver, Washington, the son of Gil and Sharon Belisle. Dan was raised in Battle Ground, Washington where he attended grade school and high school. He was an avid wrestler, enjoyed working on his Cougar, and was a joy to anyone around him. You would most often catch Dan fishing and hunting which was a passion throughout his entire life. Dan will be remembered as a man with a big and kind heart that showed itself in an intense love for his children and his grandchildren. He was always ready to lend a hand to help anyone in need. He spent his working life in the construction industry and had a reputation as a hard worker, a perfectionist, and a true artist. Dan also found interest in hobbies such as cooking and arts. He had a personality that drew people to him. He had a contagious smile, a hearty laugh, and was always there to lend an ear. Almost anyone who knew Dan can agree that he is also known for his sense of humor. He could talk about anything at length but could also speak his mind clearly and directly, with no beating around the bush but with honesty and integrity. Dan completed his life on this earth on January 9, 2013 in Vancouver, Washington. He is survived by his children, Kate, Kristen, and Craig, his grandchildren, Bradley, Emma, and Remington, his mother, Sharon, his brother Rod and his sister, Jody, nieces and nephews, and many good friends. "A donation account on behalf of Dan, has been set up with Chase Bank. Donations can be made at any branch under the account of Kathleen D. Belisle, last four numbers of account: 7890."
